Margot McGovern is an award-winning author of Young Adult horror. 

Her love letter to ‘90s slashers, This Stays Between Us, won the inaugural John Marsden Prize for Writing for Young Adults in the Victorian Premier’s  Literary Awards and was named the CBCA Shadow Judging Book of the Year for Older Readers.

Her work has also been shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards, the South Australian Literary Awards, the Australian Book Industry Awards, the Aurealis Awards, the ITW Thriller Awards and the Text Prize.

Margot lives on Kaurna Yarta (Adelaide) and holds a creative writing PhD from Flinders University.
